Procedure documentation Defining Permission Owners  Locate the document in its SAP Library structure

Use

Permission owners are users who are allowed to change permissions. They have the following special rights:

      Change the permissions

Change the entries in the list of permission owners

      Full access to the item

The system passes on the permission owners to subordinate items.

If you save the access permissions or service permissions for an item for the first time, the system enters your user as the permission owner and stops passing on the permissions automatically. We recommend that you specify more users as permission owners, who are then responsible for managing the permissions for this item.

Prerequisites

You are a permission owner.
