A Web Service Client Proxy is a special Java DC that contains client code that accesses a Web Service.
The difference between a deployable and a standalone proxy is the fact that, for a deployable proxy, the application of the Web service client must be deployed on the J2EE engine. A standalone proxy can be executed without the J2EE engine. For more information on deployable and standalone proxies, see Including Web Services.
An ear-file.
Web Service DCs are best handled using the Client Explorer in the Web Services Perspective.
