Function documentation Mixed Mode  Locate the document in its SAP Library structure

A qRFC LUW can contain both tRFC calls and qRFC calls. These qRFC variants are called Mixed Mode.

Take care of the following when using Mixed Mode:

If tRFC and qRFC calls use the same destination in a LUW, create a sub LUW with regard to their TID assignment.

If only tRFC calls exist for a specific destination in an application LUW, create these their own sub LUW that is processed as a normal LUW.

Separate tRFC calls (with option AS SEPARATE UNIT) in a LUW in Mixed Mode get their own TID as sub LUW. These sub LUWs are dependent on the assigned queue but independent from the main LUW.
