The following graphic describes the structure of a RosettaNet message.

The Preamble Header, Service Header, and Service Content are XML structures specified by RNIF version 1.1. The message also contains length fields and optional signature information.

The Preamble Header identifies the message to be a RosettaNet message. The Service Header identifies the process layer and transaction layer information.
