Background documentation Connection-Specific Configurations  Locate the document in its SAP Library structure

The connection-specific configurations depend on the type of components that are to communicate with each other, for example, connections between:

·        Two application servers

·        The application server and an RFC client or server program

Connection-specific configurations can include making access control list entries or specifying the SNC name of the server's communication partner in parameters.

Example

For example, when establishing an SNC-protected connection between an RFC server program and the AS ABAP, you must make some access control entries.

More information: Making the Access Control List Entries on the Application Server.
