Start Application for liveCache: Monitoring 

As a possible user-specific setting, you can define the start application for the monitoring and administration of the liveCache using liveCache: Monitoring.

Prerequisites

The user has been assigned a role in accordance with the authorization concept. You are in the user menu of the user with the authorizations that correspond to this role.

Procedure

       1.      In the user menu, choose liveCache Assistant(transaction LC10).

       2.      Choose Goto ® Settings.

       3.      Choose Initial Screen.

       4.      You have the following options:
Select Start Application. From the list of possible applications, choose the application that should always be executed first when liveCache: Monitoring is started.
Select Do Not Run a Start Application if no application is to be started.

Result

Depending on your selection, the selected start application, or no start application, is started every time the application liveCache: Monitoringis started.

If one of the critical database states "Data or Log Area Is Full" occurs, the application Properties is started irrespective of these settings, to make you aware of this status.
