In the attribute display, you can display the details for a process step and, if necessary, switch to other analysis tools.

Integration

You can call the attribute display from the Instance View. In the instance view, you can use the colored indicators and status icons to quickly identify the status of the process steps of the instance. You can open the attribute display, for example, by selecting one of the process steps with errors.

Features

The attribute display displays detailed information for the selected step, which supports you when analyzing the process or process step. This information includes the time, IDoc number, IDoc status, transaction, and transaction ID.

If you have called the attribute display from the trace process, you can switch directly to the trace tools. Even if you cannot switch to other analysis tools, you can use the detailed information to obtain additional information in other tools.

Example Example

You want to display additional information about a process step, such as its memory usage. You can find this information in the functional trace (Transaction STATTRACE), which saves the statistics record for a process step. The statistics record contains detailed information about response time, database time, memory usage, the quantity of data transferrred, and so on. You can use the transaction ID from the attribute display to find the relevant statistics record in the functional trace.
