Wait Situations (Exclusive)
In the SQL Locks user
menu, you can find a display of wait situations for
exclusive
locks.
Use this analysis
if you are using the Task Manager to monitor database tasks with
Vwait
status over a
longer period of time.
Prerequisites
Procedure
In the Database Assistant, choose Current Status → SQL Locks → Wait Situations.

Result
The system displays a list of all current wait situations for locks in the database instance.
Exclusive locks mean that other users cannot access the locked entry. These locks can significantly interfere with the performance of the SAP system and the database system.
You can also use options provided in the Database Console.
