Cluster Monitor Service 

Use

This service gathers data on the status of Knowledge Management at defined intervals.

The configuration of the service may only be changed by SAP Support.

Integration

The cluster monitor service is required for using the cluster monitor.

Features

The following parameters pertain to the cluster monitor service:

Cluster Monitor Service Parameters

Parameter	Required	Description
Activate periodic monitoring	No	If activated, a new measuring point is automatically created when the prescribed period expires.
History size	Yes	Number of measuring points displayed in the cluster monitor. Default setting: 15
Period in hours	Yes	Number of hours after which a new measuring point is generated. Default setting: 6 hours

 

Activities

This service is preconfigured and active in the standard delivery. To call the service, choose System Administration → System Configuration → Knowledge Management → Content Management → Global Services → KmMonitorGlobalService in the portal.

The configuration of the service may only be changed by SAP Support.
