Kernel Threads 

In the Current Status (OLTP / liveCache) user menu, you can, among other things, obtain a display of the activities of individual database tasks.

Procedure

...

       1.      Open the Database Assistant (transaction DB50) or the liveCache Assistant (transaction LC10).

       2.      Choose Current Status → Kernel Threads.

...

Result

The system displays an overview of the running activities of the individual tasks. You can set up a view of the tasks that meets your current requirements.

This thread overview helps you to identify the type of activities in your database system and possible bottlenecks by using the displays for the wait and lock situations.

The following views are available:

●     Task Manager

●     Thread Overview

●     Thread Statistics
