In the Logs
user menu (OLTP/
liveCache) you can
also find logs from the database administration actions.

Open the Database Assistant
(transaction DB50) or the
liveCache
Assistant (transaction LC10).
2. Choose Troubleshooting → Logs → DBA History.

The content of several DM log files, general log files from the database kernel as well as log files from backup tools from other providers (if applicable) over the last three months will be displayed as follows.

Save/Restore (DBM Server) |
Backup and recovery Log files from the Database Manager and (if applicable) log files from backup tools from other providers are evaluated. |
Save/Restore (Kernel) |
Backup and recovery Log files from the database kernel are evaluated. |
Optimizer Statistics |
Optimizer statistics are updated. |
Database Structure Checks |
Checking the database structures Log files from the Database Manager are evaluated. |
Archiving Log Backup Files |
Archiving the backup files (log backup) Log files from the Database Manager and (if applicable) log files from backup tools from other providers are evaluated. |
You can display additional detailed information for an action (Display Log) by double-clicking it.
If backup tools from other providers were used, the log information for these tools is displayed.
