SAP Exchange Infrastructure centrally manages the integration knowledge in the Integration Repository and Directory. The Integration Repository gathers together all objects relevant for shipment (see: Design) while the contents of the Integration Directory must be configured at the customer site for the particular system landscape (see: Configuration).
