Database Activities
The Statistics user menu of the Database Assistant shows you, among other things, a display of the database activities of the last four weeks.
The display is only possible for the basis database instance of the SAP system.
These values are gathered from the last time database monitoring was started.
In the Database Assistant, choose Statistics → DB Activities.
...
You receive information about database activities for the previous four weeks. You can set this output time frame. A collector logs the database activities of the database instance once a day, so that you can monitor activities over a specified period.
You can choose from the following views:
· SQL Commands: Total number of SQL statements, commits, rollbacks, prepares
· Cache activities: Cache hit rates, number of reads and writes to the database instance
· Other Activities: Number of table scans, log activities, log information messages
Deleting statistics data can be done manually by specifying a time period/date or automatically by specifying a time period (in weeks).
