 Maintain Like Profiles

Use

Maintain Like Profiles allows users to view, define, and modify profiles for families of products that are sufficiently similar (like) each other that forecast planning can be performed for new products, based on the history of existing products.

Integration

This function is integrated into the SNC Web user interface.

Activities

  1. To gain access to this function, select Start of the navigation path Demand Next navigation step Statistical Forecasting Next navigation step Forecasting Parameters.. End of the navigation path

    Choose the Like Profile tab.

  2. Specify a Like Name either by defining a new name, or selecting one from the pull-down menu.

  3. Specify a Like type by selecting one of the following from the pull-down menu:

    • Build average

    • Build sum

  4. Edit the Like Profile parameters:

    • St. date

    • St. time

    • End date

    • End time

    • Product

    • Location

    • Factor (%)

    • Factor profile

  5. Choose Save to save the new or changed profile.
