 Finding Root Classes of a Class Type

Procedure

You can find an initial class for finding objects by displaying a list of all classes that are not assigned to a superior class.

You can use this search function if you know that the class you are looking for is not in a class hierarchy, or is at the top of a hierarchy.

To display all classes without a superior class, proceed as follows:

  1. From the classification menu, choose Start of the navigation path Find Next navigation step Objects in class End of the navigation path . Enter '*' in the Class field.

  2. Choose Start of the navigation path Environment Next navigation step Find root class of class type. End of the navigation path

  3. Choose Execute .

You see a list of all classes that are not assigned to a superior class. You can copy a class from the list to your application.
