Use

Creating the process template is the first step in the process design. Using this procedure, you create the framework, in which you can define process flow, roles, parameters, and so on.

Procedure

...

       1.      In the gallery, choose Create Process from the contextual navigation panel.

The process’ design time opens.

       2.      You can overwrite the following default parameter values:

Description

Name

Enter a meaningful name for the process template. It can be translated when the process template is internationalized. No restrictions apply to the name.

Description

Enter a description for the process template – for example, explain what is the result of the process.

Note

To provide relevant version-specific information or comments, you can use the Additional Info tab in the process’ design time once you have created it. Several rules and restrictions apply when you add or edit info:

·        You can add comments for the current version of any process template object in the gallery to which you have access.

·        You can only edit your own comments.

      You cannot edit comments added for previous versions of the object.

Original Language

Choose the language, in which the process template is originally created.

Folder

Choose a folder to store the process template.

       3.      To complete the procedure, choose This graphic is explained in the accompanying text (Save).
