Adding Attachments
You can add any type of file, document, or image as an attachment to a business object instance.
Before adding a document or image, you must first configure the respective UI component, such as Attachments or Attach Image. Adding a document or image will be launched from the configured layout. See the following patterns for configuration information:
You must see Attach at the top of the generated screen layout to continue.
Adding Documents from the Attachments UI Component

1. Choose Attach from the top of the Attachments pattern.
2. The Attach from File System window opens.
3. Choose Browse to select the document you want to attach.
4. Choose OK.
The document
appears as an item in the table in the column Name. To remove
the item, click
with the quick
info text Remove Document.
5. Repeat steps 1-4 to add additional documents.
Adding Images from the Attach Image UI Component
1.
Click
with the quick info text Edit.
The New Image window opens.
2. Indicate the image download location (for example, a link to a URL).
3. Choose Browse, to select the image if downloading from a file directory or DMS.
4. From the field Target Folder, choose Browse to indicate where the image should be saved or choose Set Default to use the default value.
5. Choose OK.
6. Repeat steps 1-5 to add additional images.
To remove an
image, click
with the quick info
text Remove.
