Changing Condition Tables
You can make limited changes to the existing condition tables. You can change the name of the table or the format of the fast entry screens in the rule determination for the condition records. Using the fast entry screens, you can create and maintain the condition records of a condition table in one screen.
You have the following options:
● Change the format of a fast entry screen (in the rule determination)
● Changing the format of a fast entry screen
● Define the field sequence
To change a condition table, in Customizing for SAP Supply Chain Management (SAP SCM), execute IMG activity Define Condition Table with the activity Change Condition Table. For more information, see the Implementation Guide (IMG) for SAP SCM under Advanced Planning and Optimization → Global Available-to-Promise (Global ATP) → Rules-Based Availability Check → Define Condition Table → Change Condition Table.
The screen consists of header and item rows, each of which displays a single condition record. The header rows contain fields that are valid for all item rows. When formatting the fast entry screens, you can determine if each key field should be created as a header or item row.
To change the format of the fast entry screen, choose Technical view from the Create Condition Tables screen.
When formatting, you have the following options:
● Display the field as a header row
Leave the Rows field blank to do this.
● Display the field as an item row
Set the Rows indicator to do this.
● Display the text as an item row
Set the Text indicator to do this.
Set the Text indicator. After you have changed a condition table, choose Condition à Generate.
You determine the sequence of the key fields according to when they were copied from the field catalog. If you want to change this sequence, you must delete the corresponding condition table and then create a new one. The condition table cannot be changed after it has been generated. However, you can delete the condition table at any time.
