Exploding and Hiding Multiple Loading

Use

The graphical objects for activities, operations, orders or campaigns can overlap in a line in the diagram section of the DS planning board. A resource can, for example, be loaded with several operations at the same time. The system displays multiple loading by underlining the overlapping objects in green.

You can explode multiple loading on the DS planning board; that is, you can choose a display with multiple lines, or you can hide it by choosing a single line display.

This graphic is explained in the accompanying text

SAP sets the color of the line used to highlight the overlaps; you cannot change this color.

Prerequisites

If the system is to interpret the following objects as multiple loading, you set the similar date indicator in the detail screen for the DS planning board.

Objects that follow immediately on from each other
Objects whose time interval is so narrow that the difference cannot be represented, depending on the selected zoom factor

Procedure

Automatically expanding multiple loading

You set the Automatic expand indicator in the detail screen for the DS planning board.

When you call up the DS planning board, multiple loading is automatically expanded.

Expand multiple loading directly in the DS planning board

Select the rows for which you want to expand multiple loading.

Choose Edit → Multiple loading → Expand.

The system displays new rows for the overlapping objects.

Hide multiple loading

If you want to switch from a multiple row display to a single row display, choose Edit → Multiple loading → Hide.
