Procedure documentationDefining Downtime Alerting Locate this document in the navigation structure

 

During this stage you decide whether the system should be:

  • Fully monitored

  • Not monitored

  • Monitored with the exception of error messages.

Procedure

  1. Select the relevant system.

  2. Define the sequence ID or event ID of the planned downtime.

  3. Choose the Alerting Properties tab page.

  4. Select the relevant alerting option.

  5. Change the status of the downtime to In Review.

  6. If the reviewer accepts the downtime, change the status of the downtime to Released. To cancel the downtime choose Cancelled.
