Prerequisites

The status of the event is Released.

Procedure

  1. Select the system.

  2. Define the sequence ID or event ID of the planned downtime.

  3. Choose the Execution tab page.

  4. To execute the downtime, choose one of the options:

    •   Stop System now   Using Adaptive Computing  

    •   Stop System now   Using SAPControl  

    The status of the downtime is Completed.

    Note Note

    • If the Real Downtime is less or more than the planned downtime, you must manually record the Real Downtime.

    • For more information, see SAP Note 1173303.

    • After the downtime period, you must start the system using Start System now.
