Quick Project Set-Up 

Use

This function creates Solution Manager projects quickly. A web-based wizard leads you through the project creation steps.

You use this function, for example, if you are using the Solution Manager for the first time, or if you do not yet have any experience with customizing or Solution Manager project management.

The Quick Project Set-Up can create projects independently of a concrete system landscape.

Integration

You edit the implementation project further in the Business Blueprint and create a project structure based on the selected templates and solutions.

The quick project set-up does not require an existing system landscape. You can, for example, create a project and begin the Business Blueprint phase before the system landscape is ready.

To process your project further in the Configuration phase, set-up your system landscape and put the component systems to which you want to go, into the project system landscape, in the Project Administration.

Prerequisites

You have the role project leader (SAP_SOLAR_PM).

●      Create an implementation project

●      Specify the header data

●      Select templates on which to base your project

●      Selection solutions from the business process and scenario repository (Business Process Repository)

●      Select products and product versions

●      Select scenarios from the templates and solutions
