Change management of the Integration Repository and Integration Directory content is supported by automatically generated change lists.

The transport to quality and productive systems can be done by following the standard export/import procedure. The generally known way is to export all modified files (that are relevant for the transport and can be determined in the change lists), move the exported content to the destination system (development or productive system, or both), and import the content there.

You can monitor the status of your transports in the transport overview of your Change Lists tree and by using the Find Transports tool from the Integration Repository menu bar.

For more information about the export and import of integration objects, see Transporting Using the File System.

In addition to this standard process, you have the following options to transport objects between various Integration Repositories and Integration Directories:

You can use SAP Change Management Service (CMS). If you want to use CMS, you have to perform some configuration steps beforehand. These are explained under Configuring the Change Management Service.

You can use the CMS Transport Studio to monitor the status of your transports.

For a detailed description of CMS and how to use it, see Transporting Using the Change Management Service.

You can use SAP Change and Transport System (CTS). If you want to use CTS, you have to perform some configuration steps beforehand. These are explained under Configuring the Change and Transport System.

For a detailed description of CTS and how to use it, see Transporting Using the Change and Transport System.

Recommendation

Do not use CMS and CTS at the same time, except when you migrate from CMS to CTS or vice versa.
