Use

If you have used an active integration model to transfer iPPE data to the SAP APO system, you must transfer changes that you make in the SAP DI system to the SAP APO. You use the report CIF: Change Transfer in iPPE to transfer the changed iPPE data. You should run this report regularly in the background.

The change transfer for iPPE is independent from the change transfer for other master data that you transfer to the SAP APO. When the changes are transferred, the system automatically determines all dependent materials, classes, and so on. It includes them in the iPPE_DEP integration model and they are also transferred.

Prerequisites

·        In the DIMP system, you have completed the following process steps under Logistics - General Supply Chain Planning Interfaces (SCPI) Production Optimization Interface (POI) in Customizing:

¡        In the IMG activity Activate Change Pointers Generally (transaction BD61), you have set the indicator Change pointers activated – generally.

¡        In the IMG activity Activate Change Pointers for Message Types (transaction BD50), you have activated the following message type:

-         CIF_PPE_PRM

Procedure

...

       1.      On the SAP Easy Access screen, choose Logistics Central Functions Supply Chain Planning Interface Core Interface Advanced Planner and Optimizer Integration Model Change Transfer iPPE: Transfer Changes.

The CIF: Change Transfers in iPPE screen appears.

       2.      Enter the data for the desired production version and choose This graphic is explained in the accompanying text Execute.

Caution

For DI46B and DI46C.1, you can obtain this function via SAP Notes 382508 and 382262.

iPPE data are transferred via the queue “CF_CHANGE_IPPE” when transferring changes. The objects belonging to the integration model "IPPE_DEP“ are transferred via the queue “CF_ADC_LOAD”. When determining the environment, the system first generates a queue entry with the status “STOP” in the queue “CF_CHANGE_IPPE”; this entry is automatically deleted after the integration model "IPPE_DEP" is activated. If errors occur when activating the integration model “IPPE_DEP”, the entry "STOP" may remain in the queue. Proceed as follows:

Activate the integration model “IPPE_DEP” after correcting the problem.

Delete the entry "STOP“ from the queue “CF_CHANGE_IPPE”.

Activate the remaining entries from the queue “CF_CHANGE_IPPE”.

Never delete the queue entries from the iPPE change transfer, with the exception of the entry “STOP", as the data contained in the other queues cannot be retrieved if deleted.
