Procedure documentation Creating an Integration Model for iPPE Data  Locate the document in its SAP Library structure

Use

The system uses the integration model for certain materials or products in the SAP DI system to determine which iPPE data is to be transferred.

Prerequisites

You have entered the iPPE access in the production version for each material or product that you want to plan in SAP SCM.

Procedure

...

       1.      On the SAP Easy Access Menu, choose Logistics Central Functions Supply Chain Planning Interface Core Interface Advanced Planner and Optimizer Integration model Generate   Create to create an integration model.

The Create Integration Model screen appears.

       2.      Enter the following data in the upper area of the screen:

In the Model name field, enter a name of your choice to distinguish between the different integration models.

In the Target system field, enter the RFC destination defined for the SAP APO.

In the Application field, enter a description. This is for your information only.

       3.      Choose iPPE in the Material-Dependent Objects group box; then choose  This graphic is explained in the accompanying textSpecial Restrictions.

The iPPE group box is displayed.

       4.      Enter the material numbers, plants and, if applicable, production versions for the materials/products whose iPPE data you wish to transfer.

When you enter material numbers only, the system searches for all the materials’ production versions. The system uses the production versions to put together all the product, process, and line structures as well as dependent master data, such as material numbers of the components.

       5.      Choose This graphic is explained in the accompanying text Execute.

The dialog box Dependent Objects Found appears.

       6.      Choose Yes.

The system displays more dialog boxes, in which you must decide whether the dependent materials, classes and characteristics, change numbers, and so on are to be included in the integration model.

       7.      Confirm your selection in each dialog box with Yes.

The Create Integration Model screen appears. The system displays a list with the selected objects, such as material, iPPE (iPPE model), and change numbers.

       8.      Select an object by clicking it and choose Detail to display the concrete material number, and so on.

       9.      To generate the integration model, save the list.

Result

You have generated an integration model for the iPPE data for the materials/products defined in the selection that you wish to transfer to SAP SCM.
