Use

You can expand the product substitution procedure to include additional substitute products for the fan-shaped structure and the chain. A product selection is currently not available for the network (1).

Prerequisites

You created a product substitution procedure with the type chain (0) or fan-shaped structure (2).

Procedure

  1. From the SAP Easy Access screen select Master Data → Rule Maintenance → Integrated Rule Maintenance.
  2. In the Overview frame, choose This graphic is explained in the accompanying text (Maintain product substitutions).
  3. Select the desired product substitution procedure with the type chain (0) or fan-shaped structure (2) by double-clicking in the Overview frame.
  4. Choose This graphic is explained in the accompanying text (Product selection) in the Details frame.

    5. A screen with the List and Selection frames appears.

  5. Choose This graphic is explained in the accompanying text (Group) and select the group number by double-clicking.

    6. The desired product and substitute products are displayed. The substitution group corresponds to the substitution structure (for example, the fan-shaped structure) in a procedure. A procedure can consist of several substitution groups. If you have created several groups in a substitution procedure, the group numbers are displayed. This graphic is explained in the accompanying text (Product) is displayed for the fan-shaped structure.

  6. Choose Procedure à Change.

    7. The Arrow pushbutton is now active.

  7. Choose This graphic is explained in the accompanying text (List) in the Selection frame.

    8. All substitute products are displayed.

  8. In the List frame, select the row in which you want to add the additional substitute product.
  9. In the Selection frame, select the substitute product and copy the selected rows to your product substitution list by choosing This graphic is explained in the accompanying text.
  10. Choose Save.

Default values

To maintain the detailed data for the validity, costs and substitution, choose This graphic is explained in the accompanying text (Proposal values). Here, you enter the valid detailed information for the product substitutions that you wish to include in the product substitution procedure.
