Use the procedures described below to manage groups with the visual administrator.
We recommend that you use the user administration console to manage groups of the SAP NetWeaver Application Server (AS) Java.

Starting User Management with the Visual Administrator

1. Start the visual administrator.

2. On the Cluster tab, choose Server → Services → Security Provider.
3. On the Runtime tab, choose User Management.

Choose 
with the quick info text Switch to edit mode.
If you see a list of user stores, choose Browse Security Store.
5. Choose from the procedures listed below.

Before deleting a group, remove all child groups and users assigned to it.
