Device Configurations 

Use

You use the Device Configurations function to create device configurations to set up mobile devices. Device configurations contain parameter sets, mobile components, role assignments, and conditions. They are assigned to hierarchy groups and mobile devices.

Activities

The function incorporates the following activities:

●     Finding device configurations and displaying them.

●     Creating device configurations.

●     Maintaining device configurations.

●     Assigning parameter sets for the configuration of SAP MI, drivers, or devices to device configurations.

●     Determining the roles to which the device configuration applies.

●     Checking the hierarchy groups to which the device configuration applies.

●     Determining the conditions for using a device configuration.
