Purpose

You can monitor the availability of the runtime environment of PDK for .NET with the Generic Request and Message Generator (GRMG), which is a part of the monitoring architecture of the Computing Center Monitoring System (CCMS). Its main function is to send periodic requests to a monitoring application, receive its responses and display these responses in the alert monitor.

To enable this monitoring, you need to set up the GRMG Monitoring scenario for your Portal Runtime for .NET (.NET Runtime) server nodes. You can then view the monitoring data, such as current status and alert history, in the Central Monitoring System (CEN) at any time.

Features

The following features are available for monitoring of Portal Runtime for .NET with GRMG:

·                Availability

·                Functionality: logging to the portal log, request processing
