Create and Assign Preconfiguration
You can use the Configuration tab to assign preconfiguration in the form of BC Sets, CATTs or eCATT test configurations, to structure elements, or assign transactions or programs to IMG activities. You can create a template either with preconfiguration or with IMG activities, in a template project, which is then used in a Global Rollout Project of a company. You can also use these assignments to be able to trace your IMG activities, and the transactions and programs used during the configuration in an implementation project, later.
You have called the Configuration transaction and chosen the Configuration tab.
...
1. Go to the structure element to which you want to assign preconfiguration, in the project structure.
2. Choose BC Set, CATT, eCATT Test Configuration, Transaction, Program or Add-On Transport Request, in the Type column.
3. If it is not a process step, enter a component from the possible entries help for the Component field.
4. Make an entry in the Object column, or choose from the possible entries help for the Object field.
5. Save your entries.

The assigned objects are in the component systems. You can also save objects of type eCATT Test Configuration only, centrally, in a specially nominated system. For further information, see the Test Cases Tab.
