Notifying Users About Scheduled Downtime 
During this stage you define the following:
Recipients to be notified
Mode of notification
Pattern of notification
Content to be notified
Select the required system and choose Notification Settings.
Add the recipients (internal or external) using the buttons Add Internal Recipients and Add External Recipients.
Enter the recipient details, such as name, phone number, and e-mail address, which the system can use to send the notification to the recipient.
To define the notification details, perform one of the following:
To define a default notification schedule and mode for all recipients, choose Edit Default Schedule.
To define a different notification schedule for an individual recipient (as an exception), select the recipient entry and choose Edit Schedule.
Enter and save the notification details.
To edit the notification template containing notification text, choose Edit Text Templates and select the relevant option.
Save the changes.
Select the sequence ID or event ID of the planned downtime.
Choose the Notification Management tab page.
If necessary, edit the notification details for the event and save the changes.
To release the notification for the selected event, perform one of the following:
To release the notification immediately to the listed recipients, proceed as follows:

To edit the messages, choose Edit.
Choose Send Notifications Now.
To release the notification immediately to all the system users, proceed as follows:

To edit the messages, choose Edit Instant System Message.
Choose Send System Message Now.
To release the notification based the notification scheduling, choose Release Scheduled Notifications.
