Specify Project System Landscape 

Use

You must define the system landscape for your project, before you can access the component systems in subsequent project phases.

Prerequisites

You have created a project.

Procedure

       1.      Specify logical components in the System Landscape Maintenance (SMSY).

 

From Release 3.20, you can only assign logical systems to the logical components in the System Landscape Maintenance, not in the Project Administration.

You go to the system landscape maintenance from the project administration, with Goto → System Landscape → Edit Logical Components, or from the Systems subtab of the System Landscape tab, by double-click on an existing logical component.

       2.      Assign the logical component to your project, in the Systems subtab, in the System Landscape tab, in the Project Administration.

       3.      To be able to navigate in the configuration in the component systems, generate new IMG projects in the component systems, in the IMG Projects tab, or assign existing IMG projects to the project.

       4.      Specify the System landscape for central objects.

       5.      If your project is an upgrade project, create IMG views in the component systems.
