SAP supplies the resource planning table with standard profiles that you cannot change. However, you can create your own profiles in Customizing and specify these instead of the standard profiles (see Profile Maintenance).
You can use the pushbutton profile to define your own pushbuttons for the individual screen areas.
The period profile stipulates which period categories you can set in the resource planning table. In the standard SAP system, the period profile SAP001 is supplied with the following period categories:
· Shift
· Day
· Week
· Month
· User: you can define a user-specific period category.
From these categories, you can select one that is to apply for displaying the periods in the resource planning table.
You can use the Reference to Overall Profile indicator to determine that the system adopts the subprofiles from the overall profile. In the standard system, the indicator is set. If you unset the indicator, you can specify profiles that are independent of the overall profile in the user settings. If you change the overall profile, the system suggests the profiles of the overall profile as copying template.
