In the standard configuration, the system calculates the stock on hand as the sum total of the following types of stock:

If you want to use other formulas to calculate the stock, for example with other stock types and based on the characteristics customer, customer location, and product, you must define a profile for calculating the projected stock that takes account of other stock types in Customizing for Supply Network Collaboration . The standard system uses a formula that corresponds to the settings in the ASN standard profile.

The calculation of the stock on hand is performed by the default implementation of the BAdI /SCA/ICH_STOCKONHAND (CALCULATE_STOCKONHAND method). If required, you can use the BAdI to implement your own calculation method.
