Function documentation Index Information  Locate the document in its SAP Library structure

Use

You can display index information for a document or folder. The index information tells you whether the document or the content of the folder is contained in a search or classification index. If this is the case, you receive further information on the index in question.

Features

If a document or folder is not contained in an index, a message appears telling you so. If it is contained in an index, the following information is displayed:

Name of the index

Service type: Specifies whether the document or content of the folder is in a search index, a classification index, or both. It may be a combined search and classification index.

Status of the document: (Only for documents) Specifies the status of a document in the queue. Activities

In the iViews in the standard delivery, choose View Index Information in the Details dialog box for the document or folder in question.
