Background documentationMaster Data for Scheduling

In the following master data objects, you enter the calendars and execution times that are relevant for the scheduling of order documents (for example, of planned replenishment orders, replenishment orders, and advanced shipping notifications) in SAP Supply Network Collaboration (SAP SNC):

  • In the ship-from location and in the product master for the ship-from location product (for processes on the supplier side)

  • In the transportation lane (for the shipment)

  • In the customer location and in the customer location product (for the goods receipt at the customer)

The following table provides an overview.

Goods receipt processing time 3)

1) Only relevant for the scheduling schema VMIPLANNING.

2) Only relevant for the scheduling schema PLANNING.

3) In case of scheduling schema PLANNING is applied, and delivery date is used as the base date for replenishment planning: For the combinations of supplier, customer location, and product, where delivery date has been defined as the base date for replenishment planning, goods receipt processing time is considered 0 by the scheduling logic, regardless of the value entered in the master data.
