Selection Param. for Data Transfer for Contract Manufacturing
The selection parameters for data transfer determine which data the report Data Transfer for Contract Manufacturing
reads in the ERP system and writes to a PROACT01
IDoc.
Note
The following documentation describes the selection parameters for the reports ROEMPROACT
and RCMPROACT
. Differences between the reports are highlighted as appropriate.
You must restrict the selection to materials from one plant. The system always runs the report for one plant only. If you enter an MRP area, the system runs the report for exactly one combination of plant and MRP area.
You can enter the vendor (supplier) in the Vendor
field. If you do not make an entry, the report selects all suppliers.
You can restrict the selection to specific materials, product groups, MRP controllers, procurement types, and special procurement types.
The report's stock determination differentiates between the following types of stock:
Unrestricted-use stock
Stock in quality inspection
Blocked stock
You can use key figures to determine which data is transferred using the PROACT01
IDoc. You can restrict the key figure selection to a specific period.
You can select the following key figures:
Demand
The system selects the following data:
Planned independent requirement
Sales orders
Forecast requirements
Dependent requirements
Dependent reservations
Planned Receipt
The system selects the following data:
Purchase requisitions
Planned orders
Manual reservations
Stock transfer reservations (planned goods receipts)
Scheduling agreement schedule lines in planning period (with customer as recipient)
Firm Receipt
The system selects the following data:
Purchase orders (with customer as recipient)
Production orders
Scheduling agreement schedule lines (firm zone, trade-off zone) with customer as recipient
Subcontracting Reservation
The system selects the material requirements without supplier assignment.
Released QM Inspection Lot Stock
The system selects the inspection lot stock that will be released in the specified selection horizon.
Note
To send the released QM inspection lot stock data with the ROEMPROACT
report to SAP SNC, you must implement certain SAP Notes or the respective Support Package. For more information, see SAP Note 1867428
and its related SAP Notes.
You can select the following key figures:
Demand
The system chooses the supplier's material requirements (subcontracting).
Planned Receipt
The system selects the following data:
Purchase requisitions (with supplier as goods recipient)
Scheduling agreement schedule lines in planning period (with supplier as goods recipient)
Firm Receipt
The system selects the following data:
Purchase orders (with supplier as goods recipient)
Scheduling agreement schedule lines (firm zone, trade-off zone) with supplier as goods recipient
You can enter the following execution parameters.
This parameter names the logical system to which the generated IDocs are transferred. This is the logical name of the EDI subsystem or SAP NetWeaver system. Use the logical system you entered in the partner profiles.
You can choose between the following execution modes:
Test Run
This mode allows you to run the report for test purposes, for example, without automatically creating IDocs.
Update Run
In this mode, the system creates IDocs automatically.
Transfer Zero Quantities
You set this indicator if you want a complete update of all entries in SAP Supply Network Collaboration (SAP SNC). This mode transfers zero quantities (0) for stocks and demands to SAP SNC.
Stock
For each stock category of a material, the system generates a data segment with stock 0 (zero) unless the extractor has determined a specific value.
Demand
For each date range of the demand period (frequently one day), the system generates a data segment with a demand quantity, unless the system has determined specific demand information.
Recommendation
We recommend that you only use the Transfer Zero Quantities
checkbox in exceptional cases and after careful consideration. If you select this checkbox, the IDocs that the system generates based on your selection are comprehensive.
This parameter provides you with the following options:
Complete Report
The system generates a detailed log.
Short Report
The system generates a brief log including user, execution period, number of generated IDocs, and relevant suppliers.
Only Stock Report
The system generates a log containing user, execution period, number of generated IDocs, relevant suppliers, and stock/requirements list for storage locations
