Description

SAP NetWeaver Administrator (NWA)

A Web Dynpro-based tool for administration and monitoring, offering a central entry point to the whole SAP NetWeaver system landscape. The NWA can be used in a central scenario where it is capable of operating an entire system landscape containing ABAP and Java systems as the application platform of SAP NetWeaver.

CCMS Alert Monitor

You can monitor the status data of the J2EE Engine from a central SAP monitoring system using the CCMS monitoring architecture. The data collected by the JMX monitors is sent to the central monitoring system using the CCMS connector and the CCMS agent SAPCCMSR. You can display the data that is collected in the Alert Monitor (transaction RZ20). If errors occur, alerts are triggered.

If you have assigned an auto-reaction method to the alerts, an automatism can take effect (such as notification if an error occurs).

Distributed Statistics Records (DSRs)

The DSRs enable you to monitor the performance of the J2EE system and its components. These statistics records provide information about the workload generated and the resources used in the system by actions. This means that, on one hand, you obtain an exact picture of the overall quality of a system, and on the other hand, in the case of a performance bottleneck, you obtain information about its cause.
