SAP NetWeaver usage type Business Intelligence (BI) has its own authorization concept that differs in some details from the normal SAP authorization concept. The SPP user roles do not comprise the authorization for reading or maintaining data in BI of SAP SCM. For more information about the relevant BI functions, see Authorizations.
