Name of the Database Connection 

Definition

Logical name of the database instance.

Use

For the OLTP database instance that is the basis of the current SAP Web AS system, the name of the database connection must match the name of the SAP system.

·        You can assign a new name to a database connection (to create a test database instance, for example).
Use the integration of systems to do this (Creating a Connection).

·        You can delete the name of a database connection.
Use the integration of systems to do this (Deleting a Connection).
