Web Dynpro ABAP Runtime Analysis
Web Dynpro ABAP is integrated in the
existing
Runtime Analysis.
You can find information about the runtime analysis tools in the ABAP
documentation.
You can launch the runtime analysis for Web Dynpro ABAP applications from the Web Dynpro Explorer in the ABAP Workbench:
aaa
1. In SE80, select the required Web Dynpro ABAP application and display it (by double-clicking or by choosing Display).
2. Choose Goto → HTTP Service Maintenance.
You go to the service node in the SICF for your application.
3. Select the service node that belongs to your Web Dynpro application.
4. Choose Edit → Runtime Analysis → Activate.
5. Make the required settings and choose Activate.
We recommend the setting for single entries as it is easier to trace the individual requests. To do this, under Processing change the default value Composite Entries to Single Entries.
6. Start your Web Dynpro application, make your user entries and execute the operations for which you would like to make a runtime analysis.
7. To display the results of the runtime analysis, in transaction SE30 or SAT under Performance Data File choose Other File… or choose tab Analyze.
You can display the overview and hit lists for the various performance data files and follow the individual steps.

Finish the runtime analysis in the SICF for the service node by choosing Edit → Runtime Analysis → Deactivate.
