Checking and Modifying the Monitor
State
Use this procedure to check whether the monitor is activated or deactivated and, if necessary, to change the current state.
You can also monitor the applications failed to start.

1. From the SAP NetWeaver Administrator choose System Management → Monitoring → Java System Reports → Reports.
2. From the Report dropdown box, choose Monitor Browser.
3. From the Show dropdown boxes, choose Predefined J2EE local views → All.
4. Browse the monitoring tree and select the monitor whose state you want to check.

To view the failed to start applications, from the monitoring tree, choose <Server_ID> → Services → Deploy → Common Information → Failed to Start Applications.
5. From the Details pane, choose Configuration.
6. From the Show dropdown box, choose Data Collection.
7. Check the Enabled option:
○ If the option is selected, the monitor is active.
○ If the option is deselected, the monitor is inactive.
8. To modify the current monitor state, proceed as follows:
a. Choose Edit Configuration Group
b. Select or deselect the Enabled option accordingly

You cannot deactivate a monitor that participates in the Java system reports. For more information which monitors participate in the Java system reports, see Active Monitors.
c. Choose Save Configuration Group.
d. (Optional) Exit the edit mode by choosing Edit Configuration Group.
