Final Demand History
The planning service "SPP: Adjustment of Demand History” corrects the final demand history.
You have scheduled
the “SPP: Adjustment of Demand History" (SPP_PDEM_OVR_RLG) planning
service in the Planning Service Manager (PSM). For more information, see
Use of the
Planning Service Manager in SPP and
PSM Services for
Demand History Creation.
If you have manually adjusted the demand history, the system takes the values you specified manually for the demand and for the number of order items as the final demand history. However, it is possible that historical data capture captures new historical data, or that the data realignment services of historical data maintenance change data. Your manual changes are overwritten in both cases.
If this does happen, the planning service “SPP: Adjustment of Demand History” again takes your manual changes as the final demand history. The planning service does not change data that you did not adjust manually when creating the final demand history.
The planning service writes the final demand history to the DataStore object 9ADEMCRT and sets the trigger SPP_RLG_DONE. This triggers the forecasting service.

We recommend that you schedule this planning service as the last of the planning services for the realignment of the demand history. We also recommend that you execute this service before each of the forecast services.
