Error Handling During Historical Data
Capture
If errors or warnings occur when update rules are being applied during historical data capture, you can see them as described below.
You have performed historical data capture and an error or a warning has occurred.

1. You navigate to the monitor in the Administrator Workbench (RSA1).
You get there as follows, for example:
a. You choose an InfoProvider in the Administrator Workbench, for example the InfoProvider 9ADEMAND. You get to the Administrator Workbench on the SAP Easy Access screen under Advanced Planning and Optimization → Service Parts Planning (SPP) → Environment → Data Administration.
b. Go to the context menu of this InfoProvider (right mouse button) and choose Manage.
c. On the right of the screen on the Requests tab page, select a row on the basis of your request ID and your InfoPackage.
d. Choose the Monitor pushbutton in this row.
2. Choose the Details tab page in the monitor.
3. On this tab page, choose Processing (data packet): Warning received → Update rules: Warning received.
4. Here you see an external ID number in the Further Warnings row.
5. Go to the application log (transaction SLG1).
6. Enter /SAPAPO/PDEM as the object.
7. If you are entering historical data from SAP Customer Relationship Management (SAP CRM), enter /SAPAPO/PDEM_CD as the subobject.
If you are entering historical data from SAP ERP, enter /SAPAPO/PDEM_ALGas the subobject.
8. Enter the number that was in the Further Warnings row in the Administrator Workbench as the external ID number.
9. Choose Execute.
