Function documentation Analysis: Services  Locate the document in its SAP Library structure

Use

You want to analyze the contents of services for a solution.

Prerequisites

You have scheduled and performed the service.

Note

The service SAP EarlyWatch Alert is the system default service. You can select other services from the possible entries help.

Features

       1.      Choose the transaction SOLUTION_MANAGER.

       2.      Choose Solution Reporting in Operations.

       3.      Choose Services.

       4.      Choose the Service Reporting link.

The report selection screen appears.

Selection

                            a.      If you create Analyses of Services, choose the Service and parameter:

       Analysis of

       Analysis period

       Select analysis content

...

To select, create or maintain analysis content selection parameters, choose Maintain Selection Parameters.

You can select basic and service data in the following screen.

Note

You can use system attributes which you maintained in the System Landscape Maintenance (transaction: SMSY), as parameters:

                                                  i.       Choose transaction SMSY.

                                                ii.       Choose Attributes Attribute Definition.

 

Service data selection

Flag the service data you want to analyse, in the Active field.

Note

       You can add user service data from the service. Choose Insert Check from Selection or Attach Check from Selection.

You can get the information from a service which has been performed:

...

                                                  i.       Open the service.

                                                ii.       Choose the check.

                                               iii.       Choose Goto Technical Information.

        

       If you want to filter values, set the Filter Name flag for the parameter, and set the value in the Filter Value column.

...

                            a.      Choose Save Selection, to create your own selection variant.

A dialog box appears.

                            b.      Specify a meaningful name for the selection.

Output

...

                            a.      Perform the analysis.

The analysis is presented in ALV grid format. You can adjust the layout to your requirements.

Note

If you want to save the analysis as a document in the SAP Solution Manager as a *.csv file, choose Export Table as Attachment.

                            b.      Go back to the initial screen.

You can download the analysis to your local PC as an Excel file.

 

Note

You can also schedule the report as a background job, SM_REP:RDSWP_REP_SERVICES, to send it automatically by mail. You have created a variant for your report. Proceed as follows:

                                                  i.       Choose the symbol This graphic is explained in the accompanying text in the initial screen of your report.

                                                ii.       Select your variant.

                                               iii.       Choose Schedule.

You are in the job definition screen.

                                               iv.       Define the processing for the report.

                                                 v.       Schedule the report.

The system runs the report.
