Request SAP Expert

Use

You want to request an SAP expert, with an Expertise on Demand message. An Expertise on Demand (EoD) request is an OSS message in the component XX_RC_EOD_*.

Prerequisites

You have:

●     a Contingent Contract Number for the Expertise on Demand (EoD) request.

●     created an issue.

Procedure

...

       1.      Choose the link to the issue in the issue overview.

You are in the Issue Maintenance.

       2.      Choose the Expertise on Demand tab.

       3.      Choose the Request SAP Expert pushbutton.

A dialog box appears.

       4.      Enter your contingent contract number.

       5.      Confirm.

The system generates the OSS message.

Result

The Expertise on Demand message number and the status appear in the issue list.

If you have sent the message to SAP,

●     the system changes the status from No SAP Status Selected to Sent to SAP.

●     You can no longer edit the long text.

●     a new text field Info for SAP and a pushbutton Send to SA, appear under the long text.

You can:

●     close the message with Confirm.

●     trace the further message processing in expert mode, with Refresh. If SAP returns the message to you, you can answer it and return it to SAP.
