Function documentation Edit Cross-Scenario Configuration  Locate the document in its SAP Library structure

Use

You make the cross-process basic settings for a solution in the cross-scenario configuration, before you implement scenarios for it.

Integration

You first make the cross-scenario configuration under Configuration in the business process structure, in the transaction configuration (SOLAR02). Then make the scenario and process-specific configuration under Business Scenarios in the business process structure.

Procedures

       1.      Call the transaction Configuration (SOLAR02) and go to your project.

       2.      Select Configuration in the business process structure.

       3.      Choose Change Configuration Structure in the Structures tab.

       4.      Create the configuration structure:

       To copy an existing configuration structure from the Business Process Repository, choose configuration elements in the Configuration Element column in the possible entries help.

Note

Filter

        You can filter the configuration structures in the configuration structure selection possible entries help, by the industries selected in the Industry Selection subtab of the Scope tab in the Project Administration.

        You can filter the configuration structures by the scenarios selected under Edit Recalculate Scope, in the Business Blueprint

       To create your own configuration structure, enter a name for the configuration element, in the Configuration Element column. Configuration structures can have any number of levels.

       5.      Assign logical components to the configuration structures, in the following dialog box.

       6.      You can change the configuration structures and elements.

       7.      Go Back.

       8.      Assign objects, e.g. IMG objects, to the configuration structures.

       9.      To lock the configuration elements for dependent implementation projects in a template project against changes, assign values for the global attribute to the configuration elements, in the Structure tab.

   10.      You can create a configuration guide document for the configuration structure, with Configuration Config. Guide.

   11.      Perform the cross-scenario configuration.
