Definition

The workspace consists of a tabbed set of grids – or boards – on which you build and design your model. Each board has its own set of work tools, or toolboxes.

The various boards are available according to the model component you are working with.

Each board has its own toolbox, which provides a set of board-specific tools to assist you with the tasks you perform on that board. For detailed descriptions of the contents of each toolbox, see Workspace Toolboxes in the SAP NetWeaver Visual Composer Reference Guide.

By default, the toolbox appears at the bottom of the displayed board. You can change its location or hide it by choosing Tools Options Workspace. You can customize each toolbox by choosing Tools Customize.
