You need to have access to the following systems:

      Web AS Java that hosts the Adobe document services (remote desktop connection)

In order to change configuration settings you need the appropriate user rights.

Check credential

First of all you should check the existence of the ReaderRights credential file in the folder:

      Windows system
<drive>:\usr\sap\<sid>\SYS\global\AdobeDocumentServices\TrustManagerService\trust\credentials

      Unix system
/usr/sap/<sid>/SYS/global/AdobeDocumentServices/TrustManagerService/trust/credentials

Note

On Unix systems the <sid>adm user must have access permissions on the credential.

Check password registration

Start the Visual Administrator and select the node Server <x> / Services / Document Services Configuration from the Cluster tab. Within the Credentials tab in the right frame, check for the existence of an entry with the Alias ReaderRights.
