Defining Logical Systems
The purpose of this activity is to create a logical system for your systems. To enable communication between systems within your system landscape, you must define the systems as logical systems and assign the logical system to your client (see Assigning Logical Systems to a Client). Perform the following steps in both the SAP BI system and the SAP Business Suite system.
Note
If the logical system has already been created, skip this activity.
Caution
Logical systems are defined cross-client.
On your SAP BI system, call transaction SPRO.
In the SAP IMG menu, choose and then New Entries (F5).
In the Log.System column, enter a name for the logical system that you want to create.
